Climate
In general the Netherlands has a maritime climate of cool winters and mild summers. Wind and rain are year-round factors; March is the driest month, July and August the wettest (and hottest), and wind invariably
comes from the southwest, although it always seems to be head-on when you’re cycling.
At the time of the conference the average temperature is 23° Celsius. But the weather in the Netherlands is quite unpredictable. The temperature can be 30° Celsius but also it can also rain or the temperature can drop to 15° Celsius. So be prepared for blustery and changeable weather.
