Parking

After passing the parking zone limit in the city centre (signposted), you will not find any more free parking. All remaining parking spots must be paid for via parking meters or machines. As a rule, this applies from Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Thursdays and other shopping evenings until 9 p.m., and during Sunday opening hours.

Parking route information system

The access roads to the city centre are signposted to enable car drivers to quickly and easily find their way to various large car parks and parking lots. The signs also indicate whether there are still parking spaces available.

Permit holders

Part of the parking space in the city centre of Maastricht is reserved for local inhabitants and/or business owners who pay for this privilege. These parking spots are specified as such with the help of signs saying “parkeren alleen voor vergunninghouders” (parking for permit holders only) and when not occupied may not be used by non-permit holders. This applies 7 days a week 24 hours a day.
